The protest camp against enforced disappearances in Balochistan, organised by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) outside the Quetta Press Club, continued on its 6,396th day.

On this occasion, VBMP chairman Nasrullah Baloch demanded the immediate recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons, including Sagheer Ahmed and Iqrar Baloch.

According to Sagheer Ahmed’s sister, her brother Sagheer Ahmed and cousin Iqrar were forcibly disappeared by forces at the Ormara checkpost on 11 June 2025. The driver of the coach from which they were taken into custody, friends of Sagheer and Iqrar and other passengers recorded their statements about the disappearance with the investigation body on enforced disappearances (GIT), but despite this, neither has yet been recovered.

The family demanded that Sagheer Ahmed and Iqrar be recovered immediately, and that if they are accused of anything they be produced in court according to the law. They made clear that if the two are not recovered, they will protest together with the family.

VBMP chairman Nasrullah Baloch demanded that the government and relevant institutions ensure the recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons, including Sagheer Ahmed and Iqrar Baloch, and provide justice to the affected families.
