Incidents of enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killing continue to rise in Balochistan. According to the latest reports issued by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), security forces have taken three young men into custody from various areas of Noshki and forcibly disappeared them, while another civilian in the Washuk area has been extrajudicially killed in violation of human rights.

According to figures released by the BYC, Muhammad Adil, son of Muhammad Waris (aged 17), a truck conductor and resident of Qaziabad, Noshki, was taken into custody and disappeared at 1 pm on 7 October 2026 from an FC checkpoint near Zamzama Hotel in Noshki.

Shay Mureed Jamaldini, son of Ahmed Nawaz (aged 23), resident of Killi Battu, Noshki, was taken into custody from his home by Frontier Corps (FC) personnel at 9 am on 9 October 2026.

Khan, son of Pir Bakhsh (aged 19), a labourer and resident of Qaziabad, Noshki, was subjected to enforced disappearance by joint teams of the FC, ISI and CTD during a raid on his home at 3 am on 8 October 2026.

Meanwhile, 28-year-old Shukrullah Baloch, son of Abdul Nabi, from the Patk area of Washuk, was extrajudicially killed.

According to details, Shukrullah Baloch was taken into custody by the Pakistani army on CPEC Road, Patk, on 7 September 2026 and moved to an unknown location.

After ten days in custody and in a cell of severe mental and physical torture, his tortured body was recovered near CPEC Road on 17 September 2026.

Shukrullah Baloch was a poor and peaceful citizen who supported his family through manual labour. His body was handed over after his family had been kept in prolonged torment and mental anguish.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee expressed deep concern over the growing state repression and the successive incidents of extrajudicial killing and enforced disappearance, and demanded that international bodies (including the United Nations, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch) take notice of the grave human rights violations in Balochistan and hold the Pakistani government accountable for these illegal actions.
