In Minaz, in the Buleda area of Balochistan’s Kech district, the Baloch Liberation Front’s (BLF) women’s military unit, the “Karima Armed Assault Division” (KAAD), has taken up strong positions, completely surrounded the area, blockaded all main and side roads, and taken control of movement.

According to ground videos and reports, female sarmachars armed with heavy and modern weapons have covered their faces with BLF flags and are present in the area shoulder to shoulder with their male comrades.

A deeply emotional and historic scene was seen in Minaz, where local people, especially elderly mothers and sisters, embraced the female sarmachars, kissed their foreheads and hands, and warmly praised their courage.

In the videos, the female sarmachars can be seen mingling with local people and appealing to them to openly become part of this war of freedom. They declared: “Today or tomorrow we will be martyred, but you people will now have to fight this national war yourselves; there is no other way left.”

The people present paid rich tribute to the sarmachars’ spirit.

According to political analysts, these scenes in Buleda Minaz have dealt a severe ‘shock’ to the Pakistani army and its state machinery, and are clear proof that the state’s writ is now rapidly ending in the interior of Balochistan and that people are openly joining the armed resistance.
