Shoulan Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Students Organization Azad (BSO Azad), has said that our martyrs are the true asset of the national struggle; their commitment and sacrifices to the movement are the literature that not only gives us courage but also guides us in the struggle against the occupying power. Guided by the sacred philosophy of sacrifice, the martyrs gave up every personal wish, their freedom, their comforts and their precious lives for the freedom of Balochistan, and became immortal in the history of the Baloch nation.
According to a statement issued by the BSO Azad spokesperson, the organisation has designated 13 November as ‘Balochistan Martyrs’ Day’ to pay tribute to the sarmachars, political activists and ordinary citizens who sacrificed their lives, and to remember their services. On this occasion, the BSO Azad media department is launching a two-week nationwide social media campaign to pay homage to the martyrs and fallen comrades of the Baloch national freedom movement.
During the campaign, the media department will share details, biographies, articles, stories, visuals, documentary reports and other related material about the Baloch martyrs. As part of this two-week nationwide campaign, national commemorative reference events will also be held across Balochistan and around the world.
BSO Azad has strongly appealed to all Baloch organisations, social media activists, journalists, political workers and, above all, the entire Baloch nation to take part fully in this campaign and to organise commemorative activities to pay tribute to the national martyrs.
