A drone attack has been reported in Dashtuk, a border area of Balochistan’s Kech district, in which a civilian vehicle was targeted.
Two people in the vehicle were killed on the spot in the attack.
According to sources, the civilians killed have been identified as Shah Jan son of Dad Muhammad (resident of Dasht Perotag) and Samad Jan son of Muhammad (resident of Dasht Gwatey).
Public and political circles are expressing deep concern over the rising number of incidents in which civilian populations and vehicles are targeted with unmanned aircraft (drones) in Balochistan, calling it a serious violation of human rights.
