Sarbaz Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), claimed responsibility in a statement to the media for an attack on a Mari Energies Limited company site in Dera Bugti in which 3 employees were killed and several injured.
According to the spokesperson, last night Baloch Republican Army sarmachars attacked a site of the exploitative company Mari Energies Limited in the Beh Loti area of Dera Bugti with rockets and heavy weapons, killing three company employees and injuring several.
He said that after the attack a clash broke out with the Pakistani army and its local facilitators, lasting more than eight hours. During this time, nine Pakistani army personnel and three operatives of the local facilitators were killed, and in total more than a dozen personnel and facilitators were injured.
The spokesperson said six Baloch sons were martyred defending the homeland in this battle. The BRA gives a red salute to the homeland’s brave sons for their unmatched sacrifice and reiterates its pledge that every drop of blood of the brave fighters defending the homeland will be accounted for.
The statement said the Baloch Republican Army has previously warned through several attacks on Mari Energies Limited that it will not allow the plunder of national resources on Baloch land under any circumstances, and has warned many times those who facilitate these companies locally and anyone linked to them in any way. But from today the organisation announces that these companies, those linked to them and their facilitators will be the target of our merciless attacks.
