A large number of Baloch pro-freedom fighters entered the Haji Shehr area of Kachhi district, Balochistan, with reports received that they took control of the whole town, including government buildings.

According to sources, blockades are under way at various points in the town.

Meanwhile, the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) claimed responsibility, saying Baloch Republican Guards sarmachars launched an organised, coordinated and multi-pronged guerrilla attack on Haji Shehr. After gaining full control of the town, the sarmachars took up firm positions, simultaneously attacked their assigned targets and brought the whole town under their control.

The organisation’s spokesperson Dostain Baloch said in a statement to the media that, launching the operation, in the first stage sarmachars blockaded all entry and exit routes of the town and began snap checks.

Meanwhile, a unit of sarmachars took full control of the police station, planted explosives and blew it up; as in the past, the policemen fled again.

Meanwhile, sarmachars attacked the town of Eri, successfully took control of it and seized all the government buildings there.

He said that after the operation was completed, our sarmachars withdrew safely and reached their safe hideouts.

The statement said our organisation, the BRG, claims responsibility for these attacks, and such actions of ours will continue until Balochistan’s freedom.
