Reports have emerged of the alleged suicides of 2 people, including a woman, in Turbat, the main city of Kech district in Balochistan, and in Mand.
Reports from Turbat city say a woman in the fish market allegedly took her own life by drinking acid.
According to hospital sources, the woman was immediately taken to hospital, where she was given medical aid, but she did not survive treatment.
According to police, initial information indicates the incident allegedly occurred because of a domestic dispute.
Police have begun further investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, in Mand last night, Eid Muhammad, son of Mehrullah, the watchman of Soro Bazaar and a resident of Nokain Kahan, Mand, took his own life by hanging.
