Two people were killed in firing and a coal mine accident in Duki and Mand, Balochistan, while the body found in Gaban Kalatak, Turbat, has been identified.
In Duki, a miner was killed when a mass of earth collapsed in a coal mine.
According to hospital sources, a miner named Ismail was killed on Thursday when a mass of earth suddenly collapsed while he was working in a local coal mine in Duki, burying him under the debris.
Rescue teams pulled the body from the debris, took it to hospital and handed it over to the heirs after the necessary formalities.
Meanwhile, in Mand tehsil of Tump district, unidentified men in a vehicle shot dead a man named Majid, son of Rasool Bakhsh, a resident of Gobard, Mand.
In addition, the body found in Gaban Kalatak, Turbat, has been identified.
The body found last night on Zubaida Jalal Road, Gaban Kalatak, has been identified as Sher Jan, son of Muneer Ahmed, a resident of Surag Bazaar, Kalatak.
The body was identified by his uncle.
Police had moved the body to Teaching Hospital Turbat last night. The victim is a close relative of Zahid Dashti, a member of the Turbat Press Club and correspondent for the Jang newspaper.
