A fishing boat sank in the sea between Pishukan and Ganz in Balochistan’s Gwadar district, and seven fishermen on board drowned; the captain’s body has been recovered, while the other six fishermen are still missing.
According to reports, the incident took place when the fishing boat had gone out to fish in the sea between Pishukan and Ganz.
Local people said the body of the boat’s captain, Lal Muhammad Baloch, has been recovered, while the other fishermen are still missing.
Three of the six missing fishermen are from Sindh province. Despite being informed of the incident, the government rescue team has still not reached the scene, so local fishermen have begun rescue work themselves and are searching for their missing companions in their own boats.
