According to the family, Parvez Mazar was killed after being held in a private torture cell.
The women taking part in the protest demanded that the killers named in the FIR be handed over to the police instead of being sheltered, and that the victim’s killers be arrested immediately and justice provided.
The protesters said the country’s institutions and forces should root out such killers and extremist elements who use the name of the institutions and forces to abduct ordinary citizens, torture them and later brutally kill them and dump them in wastelands.
Addressing the protest, the women said such elements are creating hatred for the forces and institutions in the hearts of ordinary citizens, which must be stopped immediately.
